Novarum DX Ltd was formed in 2012 as a joint venture between BBI Solutions and a niche Scottish technology business. Focussing primarily on reading lateral flow tests using a smartphone. In 2016 BBI acquired the business, and then in September 2023 Novarum once again became in independent operation - to support growth aspirations beyond lateral flow and enable the technology to be delivered through alternative approaches. Novarum DX Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of NDX Holdings Ltd which is owned by a number of private individuals and specialist investors.
